August: Under the Sea
Those seeking an under sea adventure found it at Wesley Chapel Church. A marine education expert from Glen Echo Park Aquarium presented live sea creatures, from small Chesapeake Bay Clams to a Brown Banded Bamboo Shark. During this interactive presentation the children learned about the different parts of the ocean as well as how these animals live and what they eat. Afterwards, all the children were invited up to check out all the creatures up close.
September: Healthy Teeth
Vienna moms and little ones came out to see a Pediatric dentist who taught the children the best way to brush their teeth through songs and stuffed animals. After the presentation each kid received a goody bag geared towards healthy teeth. While the children were waiting for each presentation to begin they had a chance to get their face painted and order a balloon animal or sword.
