From the Co-Presidents

Hello Vienna Moms!

We are super excited for the new year and have already had a great time meeting many of you at the first few events of the 2018-2019 year. The board and officer members have been busy planning fun activities for you and we hope you’ll be able to take advantage of them!

I’m Hilary Flynn and this is my third year in VMI. The first year I served as a play date coordinator and the second year I served as a social chair for kids parties. I have three children - 16 year old and 6 year old daughters and a 4 year old son. I love Vienna and the small town feel; you can often find us walking into town and playing at the caboose.

I’m Amanda McCormick and this is my third year in VMI. Last year I served as social chair for kids parties. I have three children - 4.5 year old boy/girl twins and a 2.5 year old daughter. We have lived in northern Virginia for about 12 years and absolutely love living in Vienna!! I love all the experiences, activities, and relationships that Vienna Moms provides and can’t wait to meet more of you out and about at events and in Vienna!

Our goal this year is to help moms find community within our 800 member group. Please reach out to VMIplaygroups@gmail.com to get plugged into a playgroup with other moms who have kids the same age. Also, often board and officer members will be wearing green VMI shirts to events, so please feel free to introduce yourself! The officers are working especially hard this year to create events where members are encouraged to meet other members and build lasting relationships.

We are looking forward to a great year of fun events with this wonderful community of moms. We’re excited to meet you!
