Farewell from the Co-Presidents

What a great year it’s been as your 2018-19 presidents! We’ve watched our member numbers continue to grow as more and more families make a home in Vienna. Our volunteers have been working away tirelessly to host fun and exciting events throughout the year, for moms, kids, and families.

We are so excited to introduce your new co-presidents, Leanne McDougall and Jessica Fecher. This past year, they served as two of our Moms Night Out coordinators. They have great ideas and we are excited to see them lead VMI into 2020.

Eighteen of our thirty volunteers for 2019-20 will be returning to serve for the second time, and we are welcome twelve new volunteers to the board and officer group. We’ve made sure to have planning meetings throughout the spring so that the new volunteers would be briefed and ready to host events throughout the summer. Be on the lookout for many fun events already in the works.

Thanks for letting us serve you this year. It was a fun and exciting experience to watch the action of all the volunteers behind-the-scenes, and see how hard they all work to make VMI great. It truly is unlike any other Moms Group and we are so thankful to be a part of it!
