Speaker Series got our fall/winter season starting with a talk about "The Talk." It was an extremely eye-opening discussion about the "Why and How of Talking to our Children about Sex and their Body." Melissa Kilbride was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot of useful tips. We were happy to have a full house and indulged on wine and Nothing Bundt Cakes and had fun with door prizes.
In December we ended the year with a favorite speaker, Rachel Bailey, who talked about "Raising Responsible Children Without Yelling or Nagging." We were happy to be able to broadcast this on facebook live to many more families out there could learn her techniques and ideas. We will be welcoming her back virtually in March for another worthwhile talk to the Vienna Moms group. We just finished up a Pelvic Floor Workshop at Grass Roots Fitness that was extremely popular and are looking forward to a Vision Boarding Workshop this month as well.
