We had a great Fall with some wonderful speakers.  We started doing FB live versions of the speakers that let us, and that seems to be a huge hit, judging by the number of views.  We know it's not easy for everyone to get out of the house on a weeknight, so this option brings the knowledge these amazing speakers are sharing, to many more Vienna Moms whenever it fits their schedule.

October 22: Tamera Siminow - "Self-Care for Busy Moms" November 14: Emily Doherty - "Raising Money Smart Kids" December 11: Rachel Bailey - "Handling Kids' Strong Emotions and Dramatic Behavior"

Winter had great sessions:  We welcomed back a Vienna Moms favorite, Parenting Specialist, Rachel Bailey, to talk to us about handling our kids strong emotions and dramatic behavior.  We are happy to also have her doing our first ever virtual only session just for our Vienna Moms group.

In January we had a very popular CPR/First Aid class to teach us all skills we hope we never have to use but are happy to know.  Then in February we welcomed Lori Shapiro to teach us how to strengthen our marriage after kids.

Our recent speaker, Diana Forbes, taught us that it's okay to do less and get more satisfaction.  We enjoyed fabulous Pazzo Pomodoro as our host for this event and as always thank so much to Green Hedges for hosting so many of our events and always being so accommodating.

We have been trying to get the content that these speakers share to as many people as possible and will try do Facebook Lives whenever possible.  We know it's not easy to make it out on a weeknight so bear with us as we experiment with different ways to get as much information out to the group as possible virtually.

We are looking forward to the Spring and have some great talks lined up:

To celebrate National Reading Month, we will welcome Reading Specialist, Kim Creigh, at Vienna's local bookstore, Bards Alley March 20th.  Then in April we will hopefully answer some tired mama's questions about sleep with a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, Kimberly Brown, April 11th. May 15th we are going to Envision our Future and make vision boards while we hear Marcia Sheehan and Carin Kilby Clark speak and guide us through this activity.

We always welcome any ideas of specialists you might recommend so feel free to pass them along and we will see if they might work for our group.
