July: Nottoway Park

July's Featured Event took advantage of the beautiful summer weather for a party at Nottoway Park! Complete with a face painter, a balloon artist, ladder ball and other outdoor games, sand toys, Popsicle, snacks, and the playground, kids (and moms) left the event happy and tired — and sweaty! Note-worthy moments included: giant balloon animals with real eyes, a tribe of kids with full-face superhero face paint, lots of sticky Popsicle hands, and that time Angie brought out the parachute.  We look forward to seeing everyone at the next event!

August Featured Event: Kids Zumba class

What a fun time we had in August dancing out the wiggles! Kids enjoyed making Zumba headbands complete with feathers, and then spent 45 minutes twirling, jumping, and doing the Limbo to the music. Parents enjoyed some adult conversation and great naps for their tired little people later on. Many moms and dads continued the fun at the playground after Zumba was over. 

We are looking forward to see everyone at the Little Gym in September!
