Self Defense at CrossFit Mill Street
We had an awesome time this weekend at the October MNO event! Lindsay and Ceren from CrossFit Mill Street offered a 2.5 hr Self Defense class that left us all feeling so much more prepared to protect ourselves. Lindsay and Ceren taught us how to verbally and physically de-escalate a dangerous situation with crucial defense techniques, and even simulated attack scenarios so we could practice our new skills. I can’t recommend this class enough!
CrossFit Mill Street is offering a special rate to Vienna Moms (see pictures below) and you are welcome to try out any class first before signing up.
Kiln & Co
We held a MNO at Kiln & Co on Church St. in December. Over 20 Moms came to paint their own pottery piece, enjoy some drinks and yummy Church Street Pizza. A good night had by all!
Trivia at Blackfinn
VMI tested their wits, had some delicious food and drinks and enjoyed great company at Blackfinn Trivia in February. Our three teams represented VMI well, with one team placing in the top three! Come join us at our next trivia event.Â
Orange Theory
We had a MNO at Orange Theory on Sunday 2/24 @ 2pm. We had over 30 Moms come alone to try a free class. Hard work, sweat and fun! Huge thanks to Mary (Studio Manager), Taro (head coach) and all the team at Orange Theory Vienna. Anyone interested can call the studio for a free first class. Membership enquiries should be directed to Carolina (call after 2pm) and mention VMI for discounted rates.
